Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge

Which Way Around Franklin Square

Saturday morning I found myself in Hobart at 7:30 am with an hour to wait for a bus to the cricket. I decided to spend some of it taking photographs for the Which Way Challenge. My bus was leaving from Macquarie Street so my pictures are from nearby Franklin Square and Davey Street.

The short street leading to the waterfront in the next photo is Brooke Street. To reach it from Davey Street you have to use a steep flight of stairs. On the right, where the cars are parked but not visible in the photo is the hotel where I worked for several years when I first came to Tasmania. I rarely used the stairs unless I was going to Elizabeth Street to go the shops. Hobart is quite a hilly city and takes your breath away in more ways than one.
