LikeLike Reply It has to be high to allow ships to pass under it but on a world scale of bridges it’s probably not huge. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply In Hamburg we have one in similar size called “Köhlbrand Bridge”, but you are right, there are bridges in the world that are much bigger. At least in Norther Germany, I believe there is this trend to rather build tunnels than bridges,… they did for example start to build a 18 km (11 mi) long tunnel under the Baltic Sea to connect the German island Fehmarn with the Danish island Lolland, but it’s said it will take until 2024 to be finished, I assume it might take longer but I don’t know.
